Do you require a license for self-operated tour boats?

No, a license is not required. Tours are fully guided by our captains, and thorough safety briefings and demonstrations are provided.

What should I wear and what should I bring with me?

Bring swimsuit, a towel, and sunscreen, like a day at the beach. All boats are fitted with canopies. We will deck you out on the boat with all necessary safety gear. You will receive a cold bottle of water, towels can be provided. We also offer a small basket to keep your personal items while on the boat.  

How many guests can ride in a single boat?

Please refer to our package selections for specific passenger limits.  

Do I need to know how to swim?

It's not necessary to know how to swim. Everyone is required to wear a life jacket for safety. Our captains will ensure proper safety measures are followed.

Are our tours guided?

Yes, one or two tour guides accompany each group, depending on the number of guests. Thorough safety briefings and demonstrations are conducted by qualified guides, and tours are fully supervised at all times.

Do we see marine life?

Dolphins can be seen at times and you might see fish jumping, everything depends on the day’s luck. It’s a fun experience!

If I have a special request, can you help?

Absolutely! Bayside happily caters to special requests and can tailor tours to suit. Birthdays and other occasions? No problem!

What is the age limit to operate the boats, and is there an age limit for riders?

You must be at least 21 to operate a boat. All ages are welcome to ride.

Can I bring my dog?

Yes, dogs are welcome! However, large dogs will count as one passenger for weight management purposes. Dogs must be controlled by their owners at all times.

Can I swim during self-operated tours?

You can always swim. Boat rentals let you stop anytime at your own pace. Tours include planned stops for swimming and exploring.

What happens if weather conditions prevent my water activity from taking place?

We understand that weather can be unpredictable and may sometimes prevent activities from happening. If this occurs, we will notify you as soon as possible. In such cases, your payment will be refunded or you will have the option to reschedule your activity for another available date.
